Sonoma Group Wine Tours

"Fantastic personalized tour! We were in Sonoma for a wedding and five of us spent a day touring and tasting with Jill. She was fantastic! We had emailed back and forth with her a bit prior to the tour about what we were looking for - smaller vineyards, price points, varietals that we liked. She completely nailed our itinerary and brought us to great places that were exactly what we were looking for. We started the day at Buena Vista which was larger and a bit more commercial than we thought we wanted but it was great and she was totally right in taking us there. It really allowed us to learn more about the history of winemaking in the region and their grounds/winery were just gorgeous. She had connections there so after our tasting she was able to take us on a bit of a behind the scenes tour (I now want to redecorate my living room like the bubble lounge) and we even got to do a barrel tasting. It was the perfect first stop!

Our second stop was at La Rochelle this small winery was gorgeous and had some really amazing Pinot Noir. We did a great tasting with the owners son in their lovely back garden. While we were tasting and chatting Jill was off picking us up the most delicious lunch of sandwiches, cheese and charcuterie. She came back overwhelmingly prepared with china and place setting and we had to most wonderful lunch in their garden.

Our third stop was to the tasting room of En Garde winery to do a tasting with their winemaker, they had some great wines and it was very interesting.

Jill certainly saved the best for last. Our last stop was at Hamel Family Wines, possibly the most gorgeous winery I have ever been to (and I have been to quite a few both here and in Europe) The building was modern and gorgeous and as we went on the tour every detail was clearly perfectly executed. The tasting that we did there was perhaps my favorite of the day I loved every one of their wines and had to stop myself from buying too much!

Overall it was a perfect day and I can't recommend Jill highly enough, she was a fantastic guide and rally went out of her way to make sure that we all had a great time. I will certainly use her again on our next trip to Sonoma! " --- Fletch, Delray Beach, FL

In addition to spending a day taking us touring, she picked us up from the SFO airport and drove us around to see some beautiful California sites on the way to our resort.

During our initial phone consultation before the trip, she provided us with excellent tips and information on what we could do in Sonoma on our now-winery tour days (olive oil tasting, cheese tasting, gift ideas, can't-miss sites, etc.).
